The Butler County Recital Series concert that was postponed last weekend has been rescheduled to 7 p.m. Saturday.
“An Evening of Chamber Music” will take place at St. Peter’s Reformed Church, 320 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
Performing will be Tanya Satteson, Butler County Symphony Orchestra’s concertmaster, along with pianist Nancy DeSalvo, and cellist Katya Janpoladyan.

[naviga:h3]‘Colors’ opens at gallery[/naviga:h3]
The exhibition “Colors” will be on view from Monday through Feb. 21.
The opening reception is 5 to 7 p.m. Monday.
Barbara Westman, a professor of the art department, along with colleagues from the Artists’ Residency in Poland, are presenting artworks made with natural dyes.
The colors used in these artworks can be found in naturally sourced ingredients, and are turned into dyes by following traditional recipes and by experimental processes.
The exhibit in the Martha Gault Art Gallery, 102 Maltby Center at 108 Maltby Ave., Slippery Rock, is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays.
[naviga:h3]Dance Theatre to stage ‘Rise’[/naviga:h3]
Slippery Rock University’s Dance Theatre will present “Rise,” a showcase of original choreography by SRU dance majors, at 2 p.m. and again at 6 p.m. Feb. 2 at Butler County Community College’s Succop Theater.
The events will also feature new ensemble choreography by Lindsay Viatori, SRU assistant professor of dance, and performances of Martha Graham’s historic work, “Celebration.”
Tickets are $15 and are available in advance at the Smith Student Center information desk, by phone at 724-738-4926 or at the Succop Theater one hour prior to each performance.
