[naviga:h3]‘Tuesdays with Morrie’ arrives[/naviga:h3]
Butler Little Theatre’s 2018-19 season continues with “Tuesdays with Morrie,” a drama by Jeffrey Hatcher and Mitch Albom based on Albom’s book, opening Friday.
The two-man cast features John Henry Steelman and Jeff Carey. Director is Bob Craig, with assistant director Matt Perotti.
The show runs through Jan. 19.
Curtain at the BLT, One Howard St., is 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, 2:30 p.m. Sunday, and at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Upcoming exhibits at the Butler Art Center will feature elementary and high school students’ work as well as pinball machine art.
The Elementary Art Show is Feb. 6 to 16, and the High School Art Show is Feb. 27 to March 16.
The pinball art exhibit “TILT” is March 27 to April 5.

[naviga:h3]Lunar eclipse party planned[/naviga:h3]
Guests will be able to view the total lunar eclipse the night of Jan. 20 at Nicholas E. Wagman Observatory in Deer Lakes Regional Park, Frazer Township, Allegheny County, near Russellton.
Totality lasts from 11:41 p.m. to 12:44 a.m., though guests can attend from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. The lunar eclipse party will be held weather permitting.

Pittsburgh Youth Symphony Orchestra will present a free concert at 2 p.m. Feb. 16 at Heinz Hall, 600 Penn Ave.

[naviga:h3]‘Da Vinci’ exhibit coming[/naviga:h3]
“Da Vinci The Exhibition,” highlighting the achievements of Leonardo da Vinci, comes to the Carnegie Science Center in Pittsburgh on Feb. 16.
The touring exhibition features more than 60 life-size reproductions of da Vinci’s inventions, over 20 detailed art replicas, dozens of displays, and an activity zone inspired by da Vinci’s inventions and art.
Visitors will be able to climb inside an armored tank created from da Vinci’s own design, make your own Mona Lisa, and come face-to-face with a recreation of da Vinci’s scuba gear invention.
The exhibit continues through April 9, and separate tickets are necessary.
[naviga:h3]Aviary reveals new habitat[/naviga:h3]
The National Aviary unveils its new Andean Mountain Habitat and introduces a new Golden Eagle Thursday.
The new habitat features Andean Cock-of-the-rock and Capuchinbirds, species noted for their striking plumage and elaborate courtship displays.
Talks in front of the habitat begin at noon daily. Eagle talks will take place at 11:30 a.m. daily. Both are included with admission.
The aviary at 700 Arch St. in Pittsburgh is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Admission is $17 for adults and $16 for senior citizens and children 2 to 12. Call 412-323-7235.
