FIRST BAPTIST

Sunday’s service schedule at First Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St., will begin at 9:45 a.m. with Sunday school classes followed by the 11 a.m. worship service, a noon lunch and a 1 p.m. worship service.

FIRST ENGLISH LUTHERAN

The Thursday AM Bible study class at First English Lutheran Church, 241 N. Main St., will not meet this week. It will resume at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 3.

There is no Sunday school this week.

The Sunday worship service will be at 10 a.m.

The church office will be closed Tuesday for New Year’s Day.

GRACE @ CALVARY LUTHERAN CHURCH

The church office at Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church, 123 E. Diamond St., is closed through Jan. 1.

There will be Christmas lessons and carols at 10 a.m. Sunday at the church.

The monthly Ladies’ Night Out set for Jan. 3 is canceled.

GRACEWAY

GraceWay meets at the Center Township Elementary School on Mercer Road.

Beth Ackelson, Lyric Sessa and the Tom Walker family provide the music at the 10 a.m. Sunday worship service.

HIGHLAND PRESBYTERIAN

Highland Presbyterian Church, 310 Franklin St., Slippery Rock, will host a joint service at 11 a.m. Sunday with Center Presbyterian Church. There will be special music by the combined choirs.

HILL UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

Hill United Presbyterian Church, 501 Second St., will have a fifth Sunday event following the worship service.

The Rev. Leigh Benish will preach at the Sunday worship service.

The loose plate offering will benefit the Deacons’ ministries.

The book club invites all children, mothers and fathers of the congregation to be part of the Jan. 6 meeting. Participants will share their favorite children’s book.

OLD UNION PRESBYTERIAN

Old Union Presbyterian Church, 200 Union Church Road, Mars, will provide desserts for the South Butler Meals on Wheels in January. Sign up in the lobby or speak with Linda Millson for more information.

The annual Lego tournament will be Jan. 12. Speak with Peter to help with registration or lunch or to be a judge.

ST. LUKE'S LUTHERAN

St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 310 W. Main St., Saxonburg, has no musical practices Thursday night.

Sunday worship services are at 8:15 and 10:45 a.m. with Sunday school for all ages at 9:30 a.m. A staffed nursery is available.

The Daniel Plan for Wellness Phase 2 meets from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Mondays from Jan. 7 through Feb. 11 in Centennial Hall. Participation in Phase 1 is not a prerequisite.

TRINITY LUTHERAN

Trinity Lutheran Church, 120 Sunset Drive, Center Township, sets the deadline for contributions to get credit for 2018 as Sunday.

There will be only one worship service at 10 a.m. Sunday.

The church office will be closed from Christmas Day through New Year’s Day. It will reopen at 9 a.m. Jan. 2.

Women’s Bible study is at 10 a.m. Jan. 3.
