SRU football 12th in final national poll
SLIPPERY ROCK — Slippery Rock University was ranked No. 12 on the final American Football Coaches Association Division II national poll.
SRU (11-3) was never ranked in the Top 25 during the season, but won the PSAC West with a 7-0 record and upset No. 2 seed LIU Post and No. 6 seed New Haven on the road in the Division II playoffs.
