GROVE CITY — Slippery Rock High School graduate Sedona Campbell, a sophomore center on the Grove City College women’s basketball team, has been named Presidents’ Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week.
Campbell scored 10 points, grabbed nine rebounds and blocked three shots in the Wolverines’ 68-46 win over Allegheny. She is averaging 9.9 points and 6.4 rebounds per game in her first season at GCC and leads the PAC with a 53.2 field goal percentage.

BUTLER TWP — Karns City graduate Mackenzie Craig reached the 1,000-point plateau with the Butler County Community College women’s basketball team by scoring 25 against Anne Arundel CC Saturday.
Craig became only the second BC3 woman to ever score 1,000 points and the fifth Pioneer basketball player overall to do so. She has 1,010 career points, 174 shy of Julia Baxter’s women’s record of 1,184, set in 2017.
