The driver of this car suffered apparent minor injuries in a two-car accident at intersection of Meridian and Whitestown roads in Butler Township Saturday afternoon.

One driver suffered apparent minor injuries in a two-car accident at the intersection of Meridian and Whitestown roads in Butler Township Saturday afternoon.

The female driver was taken by ambulance to a hospital following the accident at 2:30 p.m., according to Dave Bestwick, chief of Butler Township Volunteer Fire District Station 3.

Township police and fire fighters closed part of Whitestown Road while the driver was removed from the vehicle and tow trucks cleared the damaged vehicles. Meridian Road remained open.

The Butler Township fire fighters, township police and Butler Ambulance Service responded.
