Nov. 21 — Christopher D. Wright, 22, faces drug charges related to possession of marijuana and the intent to sell, court records show, while Nicola L. Wright, 25, faces a possession of marijuana charge.

On Nov. 9, police responded to a domestic call at the Wrights’ residence and found Christopher on the porch. They could “smell a strong odor of marijuana emanating,” records show.

Returning the following day, Nov. 10, with a search warrant, police found drugs, various drug paraphernalia and several guns in Christopher’s bedroom, court records show. In Nicole’s they found jars of marijuana and smoking paraphernalia.

4:40 p.m. Nov. 20 — Walter Adormus Sloan IV, 36, of Verona and Rodney Devon Oakes, 38, of Natrona Heights were arrested at a home on Maryland Avenue where police said they believe drugs were being sold. They face four felony counts each of intent to deliver drugs, a felony charge of dealing in the proceeds of unlawful activity, another felony charge of criminal use of a criminal communication facility, four misdemeanor charges of possessing a controlled substance, two charges of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and two misdemeanor charges of receiving stolen property.

Both are being held in Butler County Prison, neither able to come up with the $75,000 bail.

When police entered the home they found Oakes coming out of a bedroom and, searching him, they found 51 packets of suspected heroin stamped with the words “New World” on them, according to police records. In the bedroom stood Sloan. On him, police found $970 and nearby they saw a digital scale, some marijuana, heroin and packaging material.

Police also found three smart televisions still packaged. According to police, two of those televisions were alleged to have been stolen by Garrett Barnes, whose suspected crimes are listed below, on Nov. 20.

11:56 a.m. Nov. 20 — Jacob Jones, 19, of Erie was found with a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia while he was driving on Eberhardt Road in Butler Township.

Police arrested Jones for driving under the influence, with charges pending the results of a blood test.

9:25 p.m. Nov. 17 — Traci R. Bush, 42, is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence and various traffic violations after police found her at the site of a minor vehicle accident on the 700 block of Clearfield Road. Bush had backed her 2013 Cadillac sedan into a ditch, police report.

Heroin and heroin paraphernalia were found in her car, records show.

Butler Township

8:22 a.m. Nov. 20 — Garrett Barnes, 32, of Butler was charged with felony retail theft, receiving stolen property and driving with license suspended for a previous driving under the influence charge. A security specialist at the Butler Commons Walmart told police they saw Barnes on surveillance video leaving the store Tuesday morning without paying for two 55-inch television units valued at $698.

11:02 p.m. Nov. 14 — Brandon Nelson, 25, of Rochester, Beaver County, was charged with public drunkenness at Walgreen’s. Employees of the New Castle Road pharmacy said Nelson appeared drunk in the store. When police arrived, they observed Nelson was confused “and exhibited several signs of impairment.”

5:55 p.m. Nov. 10 — An unknown shoplifter stole three sweatshirts valued at $239.99 from the Sports Obsession store at Premium Outlets in Springfield Township. The suspect is described as a white male.
