You were an amazing grandfather and father, a loving husband, a giving son, a caring brother, a proud Vietnam veteran, a coach, a mentor, and a helpful neighbor. You lived life serving others. You courageously battled cancer and Alzheimer’s disease. We miss seeing your smile and hearing your stories.

We miss spending time with you and enjoying the wildlife with you. However, on this Thanksgiving, which should have been your 74th birthday, we are thankful for all the years we had with you and for the memories we continue to carry with us. You will forever be our hearts.
