BUTLER TWP — Three members of the Region XX champion Butler County Community College violleyball team have been named all-region.

Setter and Karns City graduate Mackenzie Craig, right-side hitter and Knoch graduate Makenzie McDowell, middle hitter and New Castle grad Emily Magusiak made first team All-Region XX.

Craig led the Pioneers and Region XXwith 561 assists and 77 sevice aces. McDowell had 324 digs and 10 blocked shots, Magusiak 390 digs and 166 kills. She led the region in digs.

Pioneer coach Rob Snyder, 375-128 through 20 seasons, guided BC3 to its third Region XX crown in four years and was named Region XX Coach of the Year for the ninth time.
