MARS — Mars High School will present “Alice in Wonderland” at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 16 and 17 in the Mars High School Auditorium

Tickets are $5 and available at the door. There is no reserved seating.

There also will be a chance to meet the cast and take photos at “The Mad Hatter's Tea Party,” from 5 to 7 p.m. today in the Mars High School Cafeteria. Refreshments will be offered.

Tickets will be available for purchase at a table in the high school lobby during the tea party.

Go down the rabbit hole to explore Wonderland with favorite childhood characters in Charlotte Chorpenning's dramatization of “Alice in Wonderland.”

The directors are Rebecca Penn Hoffmann and Nicole Vozza.

The student director is Zachary Ottenweller.

The stage managers are Izzy Trimble and Dustin Bauer.

Chorpenning's play combines characters and storylines from both of Lewis Carroll's Alice books: “Alice's Adventures in Wonderland” and “Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There.”

Alice, the White Rabbit, the Caterpillar, the Mad Hatter, Tweedledee, Tweedledum and more all partner up to save the Knave of Hearts from the Queen's wrath. Will they help him in time, or will it be off with his head?
