Karns City graduate Mackenzie Craig had 10 kills and 34 assists as the Butler County Community College volleyball team downed Patrick Henry 25-20, 25-21, 19-25, 25-18 in pool play at the NJCAA Division III District I/J Championship Tournament Friday.

Knoch grads Abby Kopac and Makenzie McDowell also had a big match for the Pioneers.

Kopac had 11 kills while McDowell added seven kills, 28 digs and five aces.

BC3, however, fell to Lorain 25-13, 25-18, 25-14.

The Pioneers are still alive and will play Owens in the semifinals Saturday.
