Donald L. Ewart

Donald L. Ewart, 88, of Butler died on Wednesday surrounded by his family at his home in Butler.

Born on Dec. 7, 1929, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late John A. and Grace Ewart.

Donald was an attorney and consultant.

He also was a member of the U.S. Air Force. He served in Japan during the Korean War and retired from the military as a second lieutenant.

Surviving are his daughters, Ann Ewart and her husband, Karl Meadows, of Pittsburgh, and Ellen Ewart of Annapolis, Md.; his son, Donald L. Ewart Jr. and his wife, Julie; his grandson, Donald L. Ewart III of St. Louis, Mo.; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Martha J. Ewart; his brothers, James A. Ewart and John A. (Jack) Ewart; and his sisters, Mary Ellen (Susie) Calhoun and Jean Yingling.

EWART — There will be no public visitation for Donald L.
