Philharmonic to play 'Treasures' at BC3
Pittsburgh Philharmonic's concert Sunday at Butler County Community College features some of the 70 musicians from throughout the tri-state area.
The Pittsburgh Philharmonic will present The Haunted Hertz and Hidden Treasures concert at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Succop Theater at Butler County Community College.
The program is to feature Verdi's “Force of Destiny Overture,” Mussorgsky's “Night on Bald Mountain,” and Rachmaninoff's “Vocalise.”

In its 43rd season, the Pittsburgh Philharmonic is a volunteer orchestra with about 70 musicians from the tri-state area, ranging in age from 15 to 80.
Music director for the philharmonic is Edward Leonard.
