Grand finale on tap

13 divisions in action at Sarver track

BUFFALO TWP — Lernerville Speedway’s 10th Annual Fall Grand Finale — The Dirt Car Steel City Stampede — takes place Friday and Saturday.

A record 13 divisions of racing are on the card, totaling over 300 cars.

On Friday, heat races for all classes will start at 7:30 p.m. After the heat races, hang around to hear Jackson Gardner on the concert stage entertaining the crowd. He will present a mix of country, rock and blues.

B-Mains and features will begin at 4:00 p.m. Saturday. Sprints, Super Late Models and DIRTcar Big-Block Modifieds will each race to win $3,000.

The last event of the night will be the popular Enduro to bring down the curtain on the 2018 season.

Track Manager Father Tim Tomson said, “We expect to see sizzling racing for our fan base and everyone having a good time.”

Dale Blaney has the most 410 Sprint feature wins in the Steel City Stampede with three. He completed the hat trick with wins in 2010, 2011 and 2012. Mat Lux has the most career Super Late victories, also with three. He garnered them in 2009, 2015, and 2017.
