GREENVILLE — Freeport graduate Courtney Grubbs, a freshman setter on the Thiel College women's volleyball team, has been named Presidents' Athletic Conference Volleyball Rookie of the Week.

Grubbs totaled 100 assists and 30 digs in three matches for the Tomcats and is tied for the league lead with 612 assists.

In Saturday's win over Pitt-Bradford, Grubbs tallied 40 assists, six digs, four kills and two blocks.
