Maridon Museum, 322 N. McKean St., will have a Harvest Moon celebration from 5:30 to 11 p.m. Friday at the Butler Country Club. Dinner, dancing and a performance by Yanlai Dance Academy are planned. Music will be provided by the TMG Big Band. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. followed by hors d’oeuvres at 6 p.m. and dinner stations starting at 7 p.m. Tickets at the door will be $125. Harmony Museum, 218 Mercer St., offers tours from 1 to 4 p.m. daily, except when the museum is closed Mondays. Admission is $7 for adults, $6 for senior citizens, and $3 for youths 6 to 17. Call 724-452-7341.

PITTSBURGH

Heinz History Center, 1212 Smallman St., will launch the exhibition “Destination Moon: The Apollo 11 Mission” on Saturday. The traveling exhibition explores the Space Race and Apollo 11 mission. The exhibit will also showcase how Pittsburgh played a crucial role in the success of the space program. For tickets, call 412-454-6000.

Fort Pitt Museum in Point State Park will present its Treaty of Fort Pitt: 240th Anniversary Commemoration on Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. for a day of living history programming featuring visiting members of the Delaware Tribe of Indians, whose ancestors lived in Western Pennsylvania. Museum admission is $8 for adults, $7 for senior citizens, $2 off admission for military, and $4.50 for children 6-17. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Call 412-454-6415.

Children’s Museum, Allegheny Square, will host “Rube Goldberg: The World of Hilarious Invention!” starting Oct. 13. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Admission is $16 for adults and $14 for children 2 to 18 and senior citizens. Call 412-322-5058.

Carnegie Science Center, North Side, hosts the Lego exhibit “The Art of the Brick” through Jan. 7. Center hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $19.95 for adults and $11.95 for children 3 to 12; films are extra. Call 412-237-3400.
