Robert Chesnoski

Robert Chesnoski, 72, of Economy Borough passed away Friday at home after a courageous battle with cancer.

Robert is survived by his wife, Marilyn; his son, Robert; his daughter, Jessica; two sisters-in-law, Betty and Goldie; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary; and his brothers, Nick and George.

Robert was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church in Ambridge.

He formerly worked in the seamless tube department at LTV Steel in Aliquippa and retired from Miller Screen and Design in Mars.

Hunting and fishing were his favorite pastimes. He was a member of the Sewickley Shooting and Fishing Club.

Robert served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and especially enjoyed biennial reunions with his Army brothers which were held in various cities across the U.S.

CHESNOSKI — Friends of Robert Chesnoski, who died Friday, July 27, 2018, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at John Syka Funeral Home, 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge. A parastas service will be at 2 p.m.Prayers will be offered at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday followed by a Divine Liturgy at 9 a.m. at Saints Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church with his pastor, Father Michael Polosky, officiating.
