DEARBORN, Mich. — Freeport graduate Brittney Bianco, a former Butler County Community College volleyball player, had 19 assists and 10 digs in her first two matches with Point Park University Friday.

The Pioneers lost matches to Lawrence Tech. (Mich.) and Spring Arbor (Mich.)

Bianco had 13 assists in Point Park’s first win of the year, a 3-0 sweep of Columbia International (S.C.) Saturday.

CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — Three Butler graduates, all freshmen on the Point Park University cross country team, placed among the top 20 at the Ohio Christian University Trailblazers Invitational over the weekend.

Doug Kostelansky placed fourth overall, Camden Seybert 11th and Robert Hays 20th.

PITTSBURGH — Seneca Valley graduate Angela Seman, a senior libero on the University of Pittsburgh volleyball team, had a match-high 14 digs in the Panthers’ 25-14, 25-23, 25-12 win over Butler Friday.

The match was the home opener for the 20th-ranked Panthers.
