5:35 p.m. Monday — Leighton Uri Ellis-Kerr, 31, of Decatur, Ga., allegedly sold crack cocaine to a confidential informant for the Butler County Drug Task Force, court records show.

The sale occurred on Fifth Avenue in Butler, records show. Ellis-Kerr is being held in Butler County Prison on $25,000 bail.

1:34 a.m. Aug. 15 — Cory Alexander Lakin, 28, of Butler faces driving under the influence charges after police found him hiding in some bushes on East Metzger Avenue near the scene of an accident, court records show.

Officers responded to reports of a blue truck with a missing wheel that was reported to be involved in an accident. A police officer tracked marks on the road, seemingly caused by the missing wheel, to East Metzger Avenue, where the truck was found. From there, fresh footprints led the officer to Lakin in the bushes.

Lakin seemed inebriated in field sobriety tests and a portable breathalyzer test showed he had 0.225 percent blood alcohol content level, records show.

2:14 p.m. Monday — Daniel Matthew Stimac, 36, was arrested after police found him in a vehicle that was reported stolen, according to court documents.

The vehicle’s owner reported that she saw an unknown man driving her car away from her home. When police arrived, court records indicate, the vehicle was parked in the driveway and Stimac was behind the wheel. The woman was walking toward the vehicle from her house.

The woman told police that Stimac had returned shortly after she reported the car stolen to police.

The car appeared to suffer damage to its roof, as did the door of the garage it had been parked inside.

Stimac faces charges of burglary, criminal trespassing, theft, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and indecent exposure.

11:05 p.m. Sunday — Police said Julianne Schnur faces charges of driving under the influence.

Schnur was traveling east on Route 422 Sunday night and was pulled over at the Route 488 intersection. Police said they noticed a “strong odor of alcohol.”

Schnur was arrested after field sobriety tests.

12:25 a.m. Saturday — Shawn Patrick Johnston, 25, of Evans City was pulled over for a traffic violation and then charged with driving under the influence, according to state police.

The stop occurred at the intersection of Oneida Valley Road and Chicora Road in Summit Township.
