9:35 a.m. June 5 — Three people were charged on Aug. 14 for allegedly stealing items from Lowe’s on May 26, according to a police report.
Police said Rosselyn Brace, 48, of Butler walked out of Lowes with $239 worth of unpaid items while Percy Guilky, 50, and Nikole Tarr, 46, both of Butler, grabbed items and attempted to return them to receive $348.16 in cash.
Brace was charged with misdemeanor retail theft and receiving stolen property, according to court records.
Guilky and Nikole Tarr were also charged with misdemeanor theft by deception, criminal conspiracy to commit theft by deception and receiving stolen property.
7:38 a.m. Friday — Corey J. Harris, 26, of Butler was cited for careless driving and speeding after rear-ending another car that was completely stopped in the eastbound lane of state Route 3002, according to a police report.
Police said there were no injuries in the crash.
10:14 a.m. Friday — Police cited Kristi Kiefer, 41, of Butler with trespassing at Wal-Mart and escorted her from the building, according to a police report.
Police said they told Kiefer that she was not allowed to return to the store because of a 2013 citation for trespassing.
4:27 p.m. Friday — A four-car crash on New Castle Road in front of Sheetz left two drivers with minor injuries, according to a police report.
Police said a vehicle driven by Rachael Mansfield, 20, of Portersville rear-ended a vehicle driven by Polly Mansfield, 56, of Portersville when the latter abruptly stopped for a traffic jam. The contact started a chain reaction that involved two more cars driven by David Grenk, 61, of Butler and Ruth Gardner, 64, of Chicora, neither of whom was injured.
A traffic citation for speeding was filed for Rachel Mansfield on Sunday, according to court records.
3:11 p.m. Sunday — Chad Sherry, 38, of Kittanning reported damage to his 2009 Chevy Suburban while it was parked at Red Lobster parking lot in Moraine Pointe Plaza between 1:45 and 3:10 p.m., according to a police report.

State police charged Michael Kuhrt with multiple DUI charges reflecting his alleged use of multiple drugs.
Trooper Philip Treadway responded to reports on Aug. 2 of a suspicious man at the Sheetz in Center Township, according to court documents.
Treadway found Kuhrt entering and exiting his silver Subaru Tribeca multiple times and talking to himself while in the gas station’s parking lot, according to court documents
Kuhrt also gave Treadway a suspended license before telling the trooper that he took an unknown pain pill a few hours before, according to court documents.
After conducting a field sobriety test Treadway arrested Kuhrt and took him to Butler Memorial Hospital for blood tests. The results showed levels of THC, indicating marijuana use, and oxymorphone, an opioid pain medication, according to the documents.
A date for the preliminary hearing has not been set.
