Josephine D. Rebyanski
Josephine D. Rebyanski, 97, of North Apollo passed away Friday in Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Cabot.
Born April 26 1921, in Homer City, she was a daughter of the late Giuseppe and Rosa Mileto Lamanna.
Josephine lived in the Apollo area all of her life. She was primarily a homemaker. In her younger years, she was employed as a clerk at the Brownstown General Store and a laborer at the Pitcairn Railyards during World War II.
Josephine was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Apollo. She was renowned for her baking skills. Josephine also enjoyed reading and playing cards.
In addition to her parents, Josephine was preceded in death by her husband, Michael J. Rebyanski on Oct. 23, 1983; brothers Anthony, Joseph, Carmen, Michael and Frank Lamanna and Anthony Brunetta; and a sister, Rose Richey.
She is survived by her daughter, Michele (John) Nestor of Valencia; her brother Eugene (Ruth) Brunetta of Grand Rapids, Minn.; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Rebyanski, who died Friday, July 13, 2018, will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home & Crematory, 100 Owens View Ave., Apollo.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at noon Thursday in St. James Roman Catholic Church, Apollo, with the Rev. Vincent Zidek as celebrant.
