10:45 a.m. Sunday — Vehicles driven by Rodney Scott, 77, of Butler, Bernard Bergbigler, 61, of Butler, Bradley Clark, 64, of Grove City and Larry Fisher, 58, of Butler were involved in an accident on North Main Street Extension in Center Township. Scott and his passenger, a 14-year-old female, had suspected minor injuries but declined to be transported to a hospital, police said. Bergbigler had a suspected minor injury but refused medical transportation while his passenger, Patricia Bergbigler, 60, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with a minor injury. Clark had a suspected minor injury, but refused medical transportation. Fisher and his passenger, Joyce Fisher, 54, had suspected minor injuries but refused medical transportation.

2:21 p.m. Sunday — A juvenile resident at Summit Academy is being charged with aggravated assault for allegedly pushing a staff member into an air conditioning unit and causing a minor hip injury, police said.

10:40 p.m. Aug. 4 — Police said a vehicle driven by Raymond Wilt III, 60, of Gibsonia was traveling south on Pittsburgh Road when a silver Ford sport utility vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign at the Bredinville ramp, hit the front of Wilt’s vehicle and drove north on Pittsburgh Road. Anyone with information should call police at 724-285-9600.

4:28 p.m. Aug. 3 — Police said vehicles driven by Brandon Wright, 20, of Prospect and a juvenile were involved in an accident on Route 356 near Sheetz. No injuries were reported. Wright was charged with a traffic violation.

1:30 p.m. July 30 — Police said Charles Schweinsberg, 35, formerly of Butler, was charged with defiant trespass after officers responded to a trespassing complaint on Delwood road.

7:27 p.m. July 30 — Thomas Romspert, 26, of Butler was charged with defiant trespass after he was allegedly seen in Walmart in violation of a trespass order, police said.

3:26 p.m. July 3 — Police said Ewari Ellis, 35, of Coraopolis was charged with criminal trespass after he was allegedly seen at Old Plank Estates, which had barred him from the property.

5:25 p.m. July 12 — Police said Kerrin Melnick, 27, of Butler was charged with retail theft, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after allegedly stealing merchandise from Giant Eagle in Moraine Pointe Plaza. Police said employees allegedly saw her remove several bags of merchandise and place them in her vehicle. Two controlled substances and paraphernalia were allegedly found inside Melnick’s property during a search.
