BUFFALO TWP — Jim Rasey of Warren, Ohio, passed Jim Weller Jr. on the final lap to win the Modified feature Friday night at Lernerville Speedway.

It was Rasey’s first win at the Sarver oval in nearly a decade.

In other features:

AJ Flick used a late-race restart to pass Michael Bauer — denying the latter his first career Lernerville feature win — to claim his fourth feature win of the season. Bauer had to settle for second.

Flick, of Apollo, extended his lead in the Sprint points race with the victory.

Jared Miley of South Park led all 25 laps to claim the Dave Thompson Memorial feature in Late Models. The late Thompson was the track’s first Late Model points champion 50 years ago.

Tyler Dietz had the pole in the Pro Stock feature, but Joey Zambotti of Kittanning took the lead on the sixth lap and won his first feature of the season. Zambotti climbed the fence of the front straightaway after winning the race.
