BlueSox cough up 20 hits in 11-4 defeat
KOKOMO, Ind. — The Jackrabbits have the BlueSox’s number.
Kokomo banged out 20 hits and Butler couldn’t recover from an early 8-0 hole in an 11-4 loss in Prospect League baseball action Wednesday night.
After a seven-game winning streak, the BlueSox (18-27) have now lost two in a row to the Jackrabbits.
Jake Stout got the loss, giving up eight runs — seven earned — in five innings of work.
One of the bright spots for Butler was again Knoch graduate Dominick Bucko, who hit his third home run of the season and drove in two.
He’s batting .414 for the BlueSox this season.
Ryan Haff also had two hits for Butler, including a double.
The BlueSox will play at Champion City Thursday night.
