CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — The Butler BlueSox managed seven hits, but were shut out 7-0 in Chillicothe Friday night.

Grant Hannant had a pair of doubles for Butler (8-19) while Nick Spiliotis added two singles. Knoch graduate Dom Bucko, who recently joined the team, singled.

Nick Fuchs was the losing pitcher, allowing seven runs, seven hits and five walks in 4.1 innings.

Zack Harvey was the winning pitcher for the Paints (15-11), scattering six hits and striking out eight in 7.1 innings.

The Paints swept the two-game series.

The Sox host Champion City for a two-game series this weekend, at 7:05 p.m. Saturday and 4:05 p.m. Sunday at Kelly Automotive Park.
