Butler County Symphony Association’s lunchtime concert series continues Friday at the symphony office, 259 S. Main St., with James Cunningham’s Brass Mania. Playing July 6 will be Cloud Chamber. The Harmony Borough 2018 Summer Concert Series will feature the Fantastix Dancers from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday followed by the Allegheny Brass Band at 8 p.m. Thursday in the town square. Fireworks will conclude the evening. Attendees should take seating. Call Harmony borough office at 724-452-6780. Playing July 12 will be Eugene and the Nightcrawlers with their blues tunes.
Musicians’ Concert Band will perform a show at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Butler Intermediate High School. Jeff Kroner is the director and conductor. Admission is $5. Visit www.musiciansconcertband.com. The next concert will be July 12 and feature Slippery Rock University music faculty.
Free summer concerts in Cranberry Township include Community Days Concerts in the Rotary Amphitheater in Community Park. Featured July 12 will be Jakobs Ferry Stragglers at 7:30 p.m.
Zelienople Community Park Amphitheatre will be the site of a Summer Concert Series featuring a tribute to Neil Diamond with Chris Denem at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The free Family Concert Series, hosted by the Butler County Parks and Recreation Department, presents the Kittanning Community Band on Tuesday and Tom Panei on July 10.
