BUTLER TWP — No one was injured in a four-car accident on Evans City Road at the intersection of Benbrook and Meridian roads Thursday evening.

The cars were traveling east at 7 p.m. when one of them stopped at the intersection and was hit from behind by another vehicle. That second car was also hit from behind as was the third car, said Officer Drew Blasko, of the township police department.

The cars turned on to Meridian Road and pulled off to the side following the accident.

“One hit (another), then ‘boom, boom,’” Blasko said. “Everyone’s all right. No one’s hurt.”

All four cars had minor damages and were drivable, he said. The drivers were not immediately identified.
