Ethan Sloane had three singles and drove in two runs Tuesday as Saxonburg defeated Meridian 11-5 in Butler County Area Baseball League play.

Sloane also scored two runs. Andy Pipes had a double and three RBI, Jake Herrit a double and RBI.

Josh Albert had a single and two RBI for Meridian. McGwire Covert and Kevin King both had a single and RBI.

East Butler 10, Karns City 3 — Matt Cooper had two singles and four RBI to lead East Butler in this recent game.

Braxton Hilderbrand had three singles while Connor Miller, Trevor Gilliland, Seth McCrea and Hunter Green had two singles each for East Butler.

Isaiah Lucas pitched the final three innings and did not allow a run.

Logan Pistorius had a double, Recie Saylor and Austin Brumbaugh two singles each for Karns City.
