Max Glazer

A Pittsburgh man pleaded guilty to drug distribution and driving under the influence Tuesday, after being found slumped over in the driver's seat of a car full of narcotics and other contraband at a Mars Middle School parking lot in February 2017.

Max Glazer, 26, pleaded guilty to felony possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and misdemeanor DUI controlled substance before Butler County Judge William Shaffer.

The plea agreement calls for a sentence of 60 months in the Intermediate Punishment Program, with the first six months spent in the Butler County Prison, followed by six months on house arrest with electronic monitoring.

He will also be ordered to pay restitution, a $1,000 fine and complete 60 hours of community service.

He is scheduled for sentencing July 19. He remains free after posting $40,000 bail, pending sentencing.

Police said the charges stem from an incident on Feb. 22, 2017, in the Mars Middle School parking lot near the field house, where police found Glazer unresponsive in a car.

When he came to, police said Glazer told officers that he was waiting for a buddy, before later claiming he was driving to meet his girlfriend. He was found to be impaired and failed field sobriety tests, police said.

He was searched and found in possession of a glass vial of suspected cocaine and $570 in currency, police said. A search of the vehicle turned up 45 bags of heroin, 106 grams of marijuana inside several vacuum-sealed bags, cocaine, marijuana wax and Xanax pills.

Additionally, police found empty heroin stamp bags and other drug packing materials, several suspected drug-snorting straws and a digital scale.
