1:39 p.m. Sunday — Police said Nicole M. Bogacki, 39, of Portersville was caught allegedly shoplifting $113.52 in merchandise at the Butler Commons’ Walmart. Police cited her for retail theft.

5:18 p.m. Tuesday — Melanie E. Malone, 37, of Natrona Heights, lost control of her car and overturned on Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township. Police cited her for driving at an unsafe speed.

5:23 p.m. Sunday — Clarke Okinski, 58, of Pittsburgh was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after a hit-and-run crash in Brady Township.

Police said Okinski drove his sport utility vehicle into a ditch along Staff Road, causing unspecified damage to the owner’s property. He allegedly left the scene and was later found on the grounds of nearby Moraine Camplands.

According to a police report, DUI charges and other traffic violations are pending.

June 1 — The state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement cited the Huddle Lounge on West Cunningham Street in Butler for a gambling violation. The alleged violation happened between April 30 and May 5.

An administrative law judge will hear the case.
