An Armstrong County teenager pleaded guilty Tuesday to drug and paraphernalia possession, after being charged with having nearly a dozen “pot brownies” as well as baggies of suspected marijuana and other contraband during a traffic stop in September.

Adam D. Fox, 19, of Freeport pleaded guilty to misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia before Judge William Shaffer.

The plea agreement calls for a sentence of probation, fines and costs. He is scheduled for sentencing on June 27 and remains free on his own recognizance.

Fox was initially charged with two counts of felony possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, two misdemeanor counts of drug possession and the paraphernalia charge after a traffic stop Sept. 16 near Delwood Road, Butler Township.

Butler Township police said Fox was a passenger in the car that was pulled over, and was found in possession of 11 marijuana-laced brownies, two Ziploc bags of marijuana, another bag of marijuana seed, two marijuana grinders and a smoking pipe.
