3:53 p.m. May 23 — No injuries were reported in a crash on Chicora Road, Summit Township. Police said a 2002 Chevrolet S10, driven by Joseph J. Acquavita, 27, of Kittanning was heading uphill behind a 2015 Chevrolet passenger van, driven by Gary J. Grove, 64, of Petrolia, when Acquavita’s vehicle rear-ended the van, causing damage. Acquavita was cited for following too closely.
4:07 p.m. Thursday — One person was injured in a crash on Perry Highway, Muddy Creek Township. Police said a 2012 Honda Accord, driven by Kathleen M. Miller, 67, of Freedom, was heading south when the vehicle crossed the dividing line and hit another vehicle, make and model unreported, driven by Randy A. Beckinger, 55, of New Castle, who was heading north. Miller’s vehicle came to rest over an embankment and the other vehicle came to rest on its side in a ditch. Miller was taken by Portersville EMS to UPMC Passavant Cranberry for suspected minor injuries. Beckinger was uninjured.

12:05 p.m. Thursday — Raymond Bloom, 36, of Olanta, Pa., was charged with receiving stolen property after an incident on Route 422, North Buffalo Township, Armstrong County. Police said Bloom was found driving a stolen vehicle.
1 p.m. Thursday — A 54-year-old Pittsburgh man, name unreported, was driving a vehicle on Route 28 north near Exit 17, when police said the vehicle was pulled over for erratic driving. Police said the man was found to be driving under the influence of controlled substances. Charges are pending blood test results.
1:23 a.m. Friday — Charges are pending blood test results against a 21-year-old unnamed Ford City man, who police said was driving under the influence of marijuana in the 300 block of Franklin Hill Road, East Franklin Township, Armstrong County.
12:45 p.m. Friday — Charges are pending against a 30-year-old unnamed Louisville, Ky., man after police said the man was found in possession of a small amount of marijuana during a traffic stop on Route 422 near Bear Street, Worthington, Armstrong County.
1:53 p.m. Saturday — Charges are pending against a 19-year-old unnamed Templeton man after police said he was found driving impaired during a traffic stop on Tarrtown Road, East Franklin Township, Armstrong County.
