One year ago today you passed away

I was devastated, still in a state of disbelief -

My life has changed drastically since you left

I pray I am doing all the right things but without you to discuss all my decisions -

I question myself “What would David do”.

I miss you, my heart aches -

You will forever be in my heart

Never thought I would endure -

I made you a promise that I would stay strong

I am doing my best to keep that promise, till we meet again.
