Margaret C. Gourash
Margaret C. Gourash, 90, of Mars, formerly of West Mifflin, died Saturday morning at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township.
Born in White Oak, Pa., May 18, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Laboski Homyak.
A homemaker, Margaret was a member of St. Kilian Church in Cranberry Township and also belonged to the Royal Court at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church.
She was an avid bunko player.
She was the beloved mother of Thomas (Deborah) Gourash of Columbus, Ohio, Richard William (Sandra) Gourash of Orlando, Fla., Sally Kramer of Stevensville, Md., and James (Linda) Gourash of Mars; grandmother of Christopher, Jessica, Eric, Ashlyn, Brooke, Dillan, Calvin, Matthew, Lindsey and Sophia; great-grandmother of Jackson; and sister of John Homyak of Minneapolis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Gourash, whom she married on Oct. 17, 1953, and who died on Jan. 24, 1994. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Margaret Gourash; and her siblings, Edward Homyak, Ann Rady, Mary Bartko and Helen Madeja.

Gourash, who died Saturday, April 28, 2018, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Kilian Church, 7076 Franklin Road, Cranberry Township, with the Rev.
