Cranberry sweeps twinbill vs. Kiski
Cranberry swept a doubleheader from Kiski in Butler County Area Baseball League play Saturday, winning by scores of 2-1 and 5-1.
The first game went eight innings before Cranberry scored the winning run on a wild pitch. Starting pitcher Ryan Stelitano tossed six innings and allowed two hits while striking out six. Jesse Clary pitched two scoreless innings for the win.
Elijah White pitched five innings in the second game, striking out five and allowing no earned runs. Austin Eichenauer pitched the final two frames for the save.
Seve Balog had two hits for Cranberrry, including a two-run double in the seventh. Catcher Justin Dattoli picked off two runners and caught three more trying to steal a base.

John Piroch was the winning pitcher as Meridian defeated East Butler, 10-5, in BCABL play Friday night.
Mason Strawn had a double, Zack Slomers two singles and a RBI for Merridian (1-1). Braxton Hildebrand had two singles for East Butler.
