Mary Ann Skrobot
Mary Ann Skrobot, 84, of Butler died Monday at her home.
Born Nov. 4, 1933, in Prospect, she was a daughter of the late John Ziros and Anna (Dupin) Ziros.
Mary Ann was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an excellent homemaker and was a wonderful cook, who lived to cook for her family.
She was a member of the South Butler Fire Hall women's auxiliary.
She was Roman Catholic in faith and had lived as a good Christian, as she was always kind and generous and was involved in her community throughout her life.
She had belonged to the Coffee Break Bowling League for 40 years, was president of the PTA and was head of the YMCA Aquatic Association when her children were in school. She had always loved and lived for her family, as they were her life.
Surviving are her daughters, Vicki Conner of Butler and Sandi Skrobot of El Cajon, Calif.; one granddaughter, Michelle Henry Reed and her husband, Joe Reed, of Chicora; three great-grandchildren, Cheyenne Henry, RJ Henry and Joseph Reed; and one sister, Shirley Russo of El Cajon, Calif.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Joseph V. Skrobot, whom she married May 16, 1953, and who died Sept. 24, 2017; and two brothers, Gary and Pat.
SKROBOT — Friends of Mary Ann Skrobot, who died Monday, April 23, 2018, will be received from noon until 3 p.m. Sunday at Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E.
