Opus I Music Society will present its Honors Recital at 7 p.m. Friday at LifePointe Alliance Church, Route 228, Adams Township. This annual celebration of the National Federation of Music Clubs’ “National Music Week” will feature three scholarship recipients who are college students studying music, outstanding musicians from local high schools and numerous students of member teachers. A reception will follow. Admission is free, but donations will be accepted for the Opus I Scholarship Fund.

The Freeport School District high school band concert will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the high school. An art show will be from 6:30 to 9 p.m. in the high school cafeteria. Admission is free.

Masterworks Concert Chorale, a chorus of singers in the Greater Pittsburgh area, will perform at 2 p.m. May 19 at Concordia Haven Apartments’ Haven I Dining Room, 112 Marwood Road, Jefferson Township.
