The last day to pay Butler real estate taxes at the discount is Monday, Treasurer John Grenci said.

Taxes can be paid in the City Building from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays or can be mailed.

Mailed payments must be postmarked no later than April 30, Granci said.

Freeport art show to be held May 16

The annual Freeport School District Art Show will be from 6:30 to 9 p.m. May 16 in the high school cafeteria.

The high school band concert will also be held the same evening at 7 p.m.

Admission is free.
