WORKING FOR THE FUTURE
The Knoch Robotics Team competed against 52 teams recently at California University of Pennsylvania in the Pittsburgh FIRST Robotics competition. Their robot, pictured here, lifted fabric-covered milk crates onto scales, dumped them into bins and pushed them through small spaces to teammates who then stacked them for points. The team included the following students in grades 9 through 12: front, from left, Emilie Jones, Megan Swantner, and Ian Robb; and back from left, Abby Palya, Matthew Behary, Francesca Ansell, Howard Hunt, Greg Sico, Holden Stallsmith, Shane Johns, Kenny Miller, Kade Hilterman, William Crytzer and Gabe Webb.
