BUTLER TWP — Butler County Community College has announced the 2018 inductees into the Charles W. Dunaway Pioneer Hall of Fame.

Bryant Lewandowski, the Pioneers’ all-time leading basketball scorer, softball standout Becky Jo Higgins-Arey and Mike Franko will be inducted during a ceremony at 2 p.m. May 5 at the BC3 Field House.

Lewandowski scored 1,303 points from 1997-99 for the Pioneers. Higgins-Arey, a left-handed catcher, hit .402 for the 1990 softball squad that finished 18-2. She hit .366 for the 1991 team that finished 15-4.

Franko, an outstanding cross country runner, qualified for the NJCAA national championships in 1969. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War, resumed his cross country career in 1973 and again qualified for NJCAA nationals.
