BUFFALO CHARGE

Fenelton United Methodist Church, 810 Clearfield Road, hosts a contemporary service at 6:30 p.m. Sunday. To provide music, read Scripture or have other participation in the service, call the pastor at 724-297-5875.

CHRIST COMMUNITY UNITED METHODIST

The prayer shawl group of Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road, meets at 1 p.m. today.

Communion will be celebrated at both worship services Sunday.

The men’s breakfast is at 8 a.m. Monday at Kings Restaurant, 191 New Castle Road.

The quilters will meet at 9 a.m. Wednesday.

The food cupboard items for April are spaghetti and spaghetti sauce.

The clothing drive, especially for spring and summer clothing, for children kindergarten through 6th grade continues until April 29.

COMMUNITY LIFE

LIFEGroup sign-up for men, women and children is in progress at Community Life Church, 1104 Pittsburgh Pike Road. The Wednesday night meetings start April 18.

COVENANT PRESBYTERIAN

Christopher Scott of the Slippery Rock University music department and accompanist Paula Kubrick present a music program during the Sunday worship service at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St.

The people for peace study group meets at 11 a.m. April 12 in the assembly room.

FAITH UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

Faith United Presbyterian Church, 1329 N. Main St. Ext., has a breakfast and Bible study at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Eat’n Park, 114 Clearview Circle.

FIRST BAPTIST

Ladies Bible study at First Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St., is at 7 p.m. Thursday.

The Shop @ 216, a ministry sponsored by the church at 216 W. Jefferson St., is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

Sunday’s service schedule includes Sunday school, a worship service followed by lunch and a 1 p.m. worship service.

FIRST ENGLISH LUTHERAN

Sunday worship services this week at First English Lutheran Church, 241 N. Main St., include Holy Communion.

The first of four classes concerning talking with children about death and dying from a Christian perspective is at 10 a.m. Sunday. The class is for parents and caregivers of children.

The congregation council meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

GRACE @ CALVARY LUTHERAN

The Butler Relay For Life at Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church, 123 E. Diamond St., has changed its meeting to 6 p.m. Monday in the church social hall.

The property committee meets at 6 p.m., the finance committee meets at 6:30 p.m. and the worship and music committee meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

HILL UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

Sunday worship at Hill United Presbyterian Church, 501 Second St., includes the Lord’s Supper and music of the bell choir.

Volunteers prepare community lunches at 9:30 a.m. Sunday.

The women’s book club meets at 12:15 p.m. Sunday.

Reservations are due Wednesday for the senior night out April 16.

The food request for April is dried beans or rice.

JEFFERSON CENTER PRESBYTERIAN

OLD UNION PRESBYTERIAN

Old Union Presbyterian Church, 200 Union Church Road, Mars, canceled Sunday’s fellowship dinner due to the annual soup supper from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday.

ORCHARD HILL BUTLER COUNTY

Orchard Hill Butler County worships at Penn Christian Academy, 199 W. Airport Road, Penn Township.

The church has a core group gathering at 9:30 a.m. Sunday as an opportunity to pray for the Butler community. The Sunday service follows.

SAINT ANDREWS UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

The deacons of Saint Andrews United Presbyterian Church, 201 E. Jefferson St., tidy the memorial room at 9 a.m. April 14. They welcome volunteers.

SPRINGDALE LUTHERAN

Lay minister Bill O. leads the Sunday service with Holy Communion at Springdale Lutheran Church, 1061 Mahood Road, West Sunbury.

The rummage sale is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The organizers are accepting baked goods for the sale.

ST. LUKE'S LUTHERAN

Services at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 310 W. Main St., Saxonburg, return to the regular schedule Sunday with worship at 8:15 a.m., 9:30 a.m. with Communion and 10:45 a.m.

Sunday school for all ages is at 9:30 a.m. with a new adult class beginning in the fellowship hall.

Outreach leads the 2 p.m. Sunday worship service at Saxony Health Center, 223 Pittsburgh St., Saxonburg.

The council appreciation dinner is at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Gordons. Take a dish to share.

ST. MARK'S EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN

The confirmation class of St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 201 W. Jefferson St., meets at 4:30 p.m. Sunday.

The prayer shawl group meets in the church lounge at 1 p.m. Wednesday.

TRINITY LUTHERAN

The monthly men’s ministry breakfast of Trinity Lutheran Church, 120 Sunset Drive, Center Township, is at 8 a.m. Saturday at Eat’n Park, 114 Clearview Circle.

There are blood-pressure screenings after the service Saturday and in between the Sunday services.

The outreach ministry meets at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
