Cheryl Ann Gold O'Day, 63, of Butler passed away on Monday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

She was born Oct. 15, 1954, in Butler, and was the daughter of the late James C. Gold and the late Joanne Smith Gold.

Cheryl was a 1972 graduate of Butler High School. She was a member of the Rubber Dolls Stamp Club.

Cheryl attended Grace at Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was active in the Marty's Marchers Relay for Life American Cancer Society.

She is survived by her husband, Samuel J. O'Day, whom she married May 18, 1974; one son, Travis W. O'Day of Butler; one daughter, Carrie D. O'Day of Butler; one sister, Tracy L. Schrecengost of Butler; one brother, Mark Orbom of Morristown, Tenn.; and a number of nieces and nephews.

O'DAY — A memorial service for Cheryl Ann Gold O'Day, who died Monday, Feb. 26, 2018, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Grace at Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church, 123 E.
