God saw you were getting tired

And that a cure was not meant to be,

So He put His arms around you “And whispered please come home to Me.”

Your golden heart stopped beating hard,

Your very Hard Working hands were put to rest,

God broke all of our hearts to prove to us...

He only takes the BEST.

Today is so much harder than before,

We will not share our birthday cake anymore.

But I know you’re watching from Heaven and celebrating from above,

You send me lots of reminders that you’re sending lots of love.

Please wear our birthday hat in Heaven,

And know I miss you dear,

But when I place my hand on my heart,

I know my only birthday buddy is always near.
