Butler County Commissioners Wednesday gave approval to the appointments of Mike Walsh and Victor Green to the Butler County Airport Authority board.

The airport authority board had two open positions after Harry Boben and Bill Giallombardo tendered their resignations in February, after disagreeing with the county commissioners about the makeup of the seven-person board.

The commissioners said that they preferred that Ike Kelly, who works as the airport manager and had been a board member, not have two roles with the airport.

The commissioners in February approved the replacement of Kelly with Matt Schrauder on the board.
