PITTSBURGH — A Pennsylvania family has filed a lawsuit against Steelers safety Sean Davis, claiming he posted a video on social media mocking their teenage son.
A Pittsburgh newspaper reported the 24-year-old uploaded a video to Snapchat of the teen working at a Chick-fil-A drive-through in Cranberry Township. Davis is heard saying, “This kid like eight years old. No wonder the lines be so long (sic).”
An attorney who represents the family said their son didn’t know about the video until he was bullied at school afterward.
The lawsuit filed Friday includes claims of libel and cyberbullying, and it seeks an unspecified amount in damages.
Davis’ attorney Eugene Lee calls the lawsuit frivolous. He said Davis did not intend to demean the teen.

PITTSBURGH — Another Pittsburgh home has been evacuated due to danger from a landslide.
City officials say residents of the home in the Perry North neighborhood were told to leave after a landslide was reported shortly after noon Tuesday.
The department of permits, licenses and inspections ordered the evacuation until the landslide and home can be stabilized. The Red Cross was notified.
A landslide in the Duquesne Heights neighborhood destroyed a home over the weekend, prompted closure of a road and knocked out electricity to adjacent neighborhoods.
City officials said the home was evacuated Friday evening and reported Sunday that the home had been destroyed. The city said the owners were able to retrieve some belongings on Saturday.

ALLENTOWN — A federal prosecutor is urging a jury to convict the mayor of Pennsylvania’s third-largest city of selling his office to campaign donors.
Prosecutors allege that Allentown Mayor Ed Pawlowski rigged a series of contracts to go to law firms and businesses that supported his campaigns for governor and U.S. Senate. The Democrat took the stand in his own defense and denied wrongdoing.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Michelle Morgan made her closing argument Tuesday, outlining nine bribery schemes she said the mayor orchestrated. The (Allentown) Morning Call reported that Morgan called Pawlowski a liar who thinks he can “talk his way out of anything.”
The defense is also delivering a closing argument.

HAZLE TOWNSHIP — Police said a damning clue led to the arrest of a Pennsylvania man charged with stealing a pot of meatballs — red sauce smeared on his face and clothes.
Authorities in Luzerne County have charged 48-year-old Leahman Glenn Robert Potter with burglary, criminal trespass and theft by unlawful taking for allegedly swiping a pot of meatballs from a man’s garage on Monday.
Police said the victim reported his meatballs missing and told officers at around 2:30 p.m. Monday that he saw Potter standing in front of his house with red sauce on his face and clothes. The pot was found on the street.
Potter’s attorney did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
