Robert L. Blazewick
Robert L. Blazewick, 85, of Butler passed away Friday at the Chicora Medical Center.
Born June 19, 1932, in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Leonard and Anna Catherine Treichler Blazewick.
Robert was co-owner of the Wexford Foodland and a lifelong manager of grocery stores and distributors.
He was an avid sports fan who had a passion for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Robert also enjoyed golfing and especially spending time with his family.
He was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Surviving is his wife, Annabelle Ietto Blazewick, who he married June 22, 1963; her daughter, Debra (Christopher) DiCianna; her son, Frank (Kristin) Blazewick, both of Cranberry Township; four grandchildren, Michael and Natalie DiCianna and Ashley and Matthew Blazewick; and her brother, Paul (Nancy) Blazewick of New Jersey.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by her brother, Edward Blazewick.
BLAZEWICK — Friends of Robert L. Blazewick, who died Friday, Jan. 19, 2018, will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. from St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 127 Franklin St., Butler.
