MARS — Mars Primary Center , 547, Route 228, will offer a kindergarten preview day from 9:30 to 11 a.m. or 1 to 2:30 p.m. Thursday. To make a reservation for the event, call 724-625-1588 today.

The preview day is for students who will be registering for the school’s kindergarten for the 2018-2019 school year and their parents. Activities will include a school scavenger hunt, a library “read-aloud” and a school bus ride.

Kindergarten registration packets and lottery tickets will be available at the event. The selection of morning or afternoon kindergarten session will use a lottery system. When the maximum class size is reached, the session will be closed and individuals may be placed on a waiting list for their session preference.

The school will begin accepting completed kindergarten registration packets March 16.
