Print shop has new owner

Josh Ice, owner of Minuteman Press, and Cindy Kriess, office manager, check an order on the computer last week. Ice bought the local printing company in December.

A Wexford man bought a local printing company in December.

Josh Ice of Wexford purchased the Minuteman Press, 112 Hollywood Drive, Suite 103, in Butler's Pullman Center. The sale was finalized Dec. 29.

Originally from Morgantown, W.Va., Ice brings 20 years of sales experience to his new company.

“I just saw it as a fantastic business opportunity in a great area,” he said.

The company prints images onto items, like apparel, letterheads and business cards.

“Anything with their logo on it, we can do,” Ice said.

The new owner also added new options to the company's product line.

It now also does awards, trophies, and plaques for employees of the month and champion athletes.

“Minuteman Press has been here in Butler for more than 20 years,” Ice said. “We plan on maintaining our relationships with all our longtime customers, but also looking forward to providing them with new product lines in order to expand their business.”

He said he is focused on developing the new products, but his long-term goals are community oriented. He wants to make Butler home for himself and his young daughter.

“I definitely want to keep growing the business,” Ice said. “My main goal is to become a part of the Butler community and getting involved here locally.”
