BUTLER TWP — The Butler County Symphony Orchestra will present its concert “The Planets” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.at the Butler Intermediate High School auditorium and will feature euphonium player Tom Mahovsky.

Selections will include “The Planets” by Gustav Holst, Carl Nielsen’s “Helios Overture” and the world premiere of Stephen Barr’s “Penumbra” featuring Mahovsky on euphonium.

[naviga:h3]GC presents ‘Newsies’[/naviga:h3]

GROVE CITY — Andrew Wilson of Grove City, dance captain and a featured performer in the “Newsies” live film, will give a behind-the-scenes talk before a viewing of the movie Saturday.

Wilson has also had roles in “Cats” on Broadway.

He will talk about the making of the “Newsies” live movie at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, and the movie will be shown at 2 p.m., both at the Guthrie Theater, 232 S. Broad St.
