CONNOQUENESSING TWP — The Butler Farm Show board of directors recently elected officers for 2018.

Ken Laughlin will serve as board president. Also elected were Kevin Loomis, vice president; Cody Stephenson, treasurer, and Ken Metrick, secretary.

Jim Govan, former board adviser, was elected to fill the unexpired term of Elmer Colteryahn Jr. who resigned because of health issues.

Other board members include Diana Bowser, Dave Cox, Terry Cranmer, George Dean, Merlin “Dutch” Grabe, Paul Hartzell, Randy Kummer, Ken McAnallen, Carol Miller, Kevin Speer, Chuck Stephenson and Alvin Vogel.

Dean Helfer, Don Loomis and Ben Patton were elected to serve as advisers the board.

Junior board

The Butler Farm Show Junior directors elected officers for the upcoming season and added three new members to the board.

Elected were Ashley Frye, president; Mitchell Kerr, vice president; McKayla King, secretary; and Robin Peters, treasurer. Rachel Laughlin will head-up public relations.

King, Peters and Adam Hartzell are the new members of the junior board. Adam Hartzell will oversee all safe tractor handling projects.
